Riverside builder wins contract to remodel county hospital
Riverside-based J.D. Diffenbaugh Inc. has won a $712,000 contract with Riverside County to remodel the second floor operating room of the Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
Riverside County's Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to approve Diffenbaugh's bid, according to Tom Freeman, spokesman for the county's Economic Development Agency.
The third-lowest bidder, TBC Contractors Corp. based in Anaheim, had previously disputed Diffenbaugh's bid.
