Most regular employees earn vacation based on their length of service hours with the County. Vacation is credited to your pay stub bi-weekly. Vacation may be taken at times approved by your department. All of us need a periodic rest from our jobs, so vacations are intended to be taken. The maximum that most employees are allowed to accumulate is 480 hours. The annual allowance is:
