The County’s award-winning Return-to-Work (RTW) program provides modified duty assignments to employees with temporary work restrictions resulting from work-related or non-work-related injuries or illnesses. If the employee cannot perform his or her regular duties but can perform other useful tasks, the Return-to-Work team assists managers in identifying and designing transitional/modified assignments to help the employee recover more quickly while contributing towards department productivity.
