This program is designed to meet the County’s staffing needs by offering on-the-job training opportunities for employees who lack actual work experience to compete for positions that are in demand. By “floating” into a position for six to 12 months, employees will gain the specialized skills, knowledge, and experience they are lacking in order to successfully compete.
