Community Action Partnership

The Community Action Partnership of Riverside County, in partnership with the community, is designated to address poverty by offering opportunities for the poor through education, wealth building, advocacy, and community organizing. CAP Riverside partners with community-based organizations, faith based organizations, local, state and federal governments and the private sector for program delivery in the following fields:

CAP Riverside receives funding from public and private sources. Its primary funding source is the federal Community Services Block Grant that is administered through the California Department of Community Services and Development. Program eligibility is based on poverty level guidelines established by the federal government. Some programs are designed for specific target groups: single women with children, youth, or families working toward self sufficiency. All programs focus on helping people and changing lives.
