The greatest resource of any organization is its employees. Our goal is to ensure continued service by keeping our workforce healthy and on the job. The County has Self-Insured and Self-Administered the Workers' Compensation program since 1971.

Workers' Compensation Services
Workers' Compensation is a State mandated benefit designed to be a no fault system providing benefits and assistance to all workers who are injured or who develop a job-related illness as a result of their employment.

It is the goal of the Workers' Compensation Division to:

  • Ensure that employees who are injured or become ill on the job receive appropriate medical attention and treatment.
  • Coordinate with the Return to Work Program in order to return employees who have disabling injuries to full or modified work as soon as their medical conditions permit.
  • Prevent abuse and fraud
