The County of Riverside has filed with the Administrative Director of the State of California to use a Medical Provider Network [MPN]. This is a program created by Senate Bill 899, signed by the Governor on April 19, 2004 as part of the Workers' Compensation Reform Act.
An employer who seeks to use a Medical Provider Network to treat his/her employees for industrial injuries/illness must submit an Application to the Administrative Director. The County of Riverside has filed an Application in conjunction with CorVel Corporation who wil be administering the Network.
